Senior Minister / Overseeing Prophet -DDiv; DMin
Dr Robyn Kassas is the founder and senior minister of Times of Refreshing Christian Center (TORCC) in both Australia and the United States.
Dr Robyn, alongside her first husband Pastor Ken Mackie (now deceased and with the Lord) set the foundations for what has grown into a thriving international ministry. TORCC is comprised of two worship centers (one in Parramatta, Australia and the other in Manhattan, New York), two performing arts schools Next Level Generation (in Sydney), New York Generation (NYC), and the School of Apostles and Prophets (SOAP) also in New York City.
Robyn has been in ministry for over 35 years, and has ministered extensively in Singapore, Malaysia, Kenya, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Israel, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, and the United States.
Dr Robyn’s passion is for equipping believers to be excellent in their vocation and calling in life. She believes that the Church will become the greatest source for good, and clearest conduit of the very presence of God through the Holy Spirit on the earth before the return of Jesus. Robyn is determined to bring the Church out of irrelevance and organized religion and into a body of people connected to their culture and who can contribute excellence in every field of society.
As a prophet, Robyn’s grasp of the prophetic ministry and its function in the local church is groundbreaking. She demonstrates how the prophetic ministry needs to impact the various societal platforms in our culture. From pastors to politicians, princes and the poor, sporting heroes to musicians and actors, all have experienced the effects of Robyn’s prophetic ministry and wisdom. Robyn is committed to restoring the ministry of the prophet to the church with the highest level of integrity and accountability. This is so important to Robyn that she completed her Master of Christian Arts majoring in the prophetic ministry and studies from Christian Leadership University.
She is widely recognized for her challenging messages and inspired words straight from the Spirit of God. Her ministry gifts include the prophecy, teaching, leadership and vision-casting. However, her abilities stretch much further, and include the performing arts and community services as well.
Robyn has been an ordained minister of Christian International Apostolic Network since 1995, and has achieved a Doctorate of Divinity from the Christian International Seminary. Robyn has also received a Doctorate of Ministry through the Christian Leadership University, headed by Rev. Mark Virkler.
She is respected by church leaders around and ministers around the world as an ordained and established prophet of over 30 years experience.
She has written numerous courses on the prophetic, and is the contributing editor and lead writer of Canaan Land Prophetic Journal - a prophetic publication she started 30 years ago which has been published all over the world.
Robyn is the president of the School Of Apostles and Prophets located in New York City. She oversees the equipping of each student in the fivefold ministries and prophetic and apostolic offices. This now includes the newly launched SOAP Online Campus which is effective in reaching students in every country.
She has founded the widely successful “Portals Podcast”. This podcast is full of prophetic conversation and revelation and has regular listeners in over 25 countries.
Her latest venture is the launching and pioneering of TORCC TV. This on-demand streaming service is full of resources that will equip, inspire, and mature each believer's relationship with Jesus to the deepest level. She also recently launched the highly successful original show “Open Eyes”. It is an investigative show that looks into the headlines that the mainstream media is not revealing. This has become a much needed resource for the Church because of the times we are living in.
Whatever Robyn sets her hand to, fruit comes from and we see the power, presence, and love of God manifest -- lives are transformed, people are changed, and leaders are raised. She loves living in New York City, the heart of the world, and being part of turning the city from a graveyard to a garden for the Kingdom of God.
Robyn lives in New York with her husband. She has been happily married to her husband Tony for 31 years and has five adult children, two foster children, and 13 grandchildren.
(Th.D.)
Tony Kassas has been a member of Times of Refreshing Christian Centre Sydney ever since he was saved through its ministry in the early 1980’s. Six years later, he joined the leadership team. He married Robyn in 1989. Although Tony’s ongoing teaching ministry spans the Australian, South East Asian, and North American continents, he has also ministered in England, Israel, and Kenya.
Tony Kassas is an ordained and proven prophetic minister and teacher. He has preached and prophesied to thousands of people over 30 years of ministry. His spiritual gifts include teaching, prophecy and governance. His teaching gift aims to help believers grasp the ‘big picture’ regarding the Church in the last days. He has a unique ability to give believers the ‘panoramic’ and ‘macroscopic’ view of events that are about to take place in the world and in the Church. His goal is to prepare the Church to overcome the challenges and experience the victories that will lead to the Second Coming of Jesus!
His heart’s desire is for everyone to experience what he calls ‘New Testament Church Dynamic’ which is signified by the power, insight, and boldness that filled the early Church in the Book of Acts. As an apostolic father, he faithfully mentors the next generation of leaders and ministers into this dynamic.
In Sydney, Tony established the Community Assistance Team (CAT) back in 2002, which serves food with a friendly smile to the underprivileged in Parramatta’s City Center. In New York City, he oversees TORCC NY’s Humanitarian Emergency Relief Team (HERT), which collaborates with other churches and agencies as a first response relief group in the aftermath of natural disasters, supplying basic necessities to victims and their families such as in the wake of Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
Tony also established Visioncorp where Christian men and women with business interests meet regularly to discuss how to better serve and inspire budding entrepreneurs to be excellent in the marketplace. He believes establishing credibility in the marketplace creates a platform for Christians to share the Gospel with businessmen and women as they demonstrate the blessings that accompany righteousness in business ethics.
He is the academic dean of the School Of Apostles and Prophets and senior lecturer of the Prophetic/Apostolic Stream. Tony is instrumental in providing a Biblical and sound theological framework and accountability for TORCC’s ministry.
He received his Doctorate of Theology from Christian Leadership University with further studies completed through Ministers Fellowship International, Vision International University, and Christian International Seminary.
Tony hosts TORCC TV’s original show “Theology Talks” where he discusses doctrine, theology, and Biblical studies.
He is writing a commentary of the book of Genesis called The Genesis Project. When complete, it will be a prophetic exposition of the book of beginnings and its powerful theological, scientific, and prophetic meaning.
Tony lives in New York with his wife and son. He has been happily married to his wife Robyn for 31 years and has five adult children and 13 grandchildren.

Tim has been apart of TORCC New York since it's conception and founding. He is a vital member and contributor to our mandate and culture. Tim Byrnes’ ministry gifts are pastor, teacher and leadership. Tim is also an avid historian with a particular aptitude for Early Church History. He is also a capable apologist for all the essential foundational Christian doctrines that seem to have been tainted or ignored in most recent times in many Christian circles. His passion for the early church writers and the revivalists of the 19th Century has influenced him in such a way that Tim has in many ways become a ‘Revivalist Advocate’.
Tim’s heart is as large as his theology. A true shepherd, he is always ready to Guide and guard the Lord’s people in practical ways as well. He is always looking for ways to assist men in the calling and responsibilities as priests to their homes. For this reason Tim heads up ‘Strengthen Him’ - a ministry specifically for men, dealing with ‘manly’ issues.
Tim is a graduate of NYU with a Masters in Teaching in Music. He graduated with distinctions in the following courses of study in the School Of Apostles and Prophets (SOAP) New York:

The Fragmented Soul
The Fragmented Soul: Recovering My Soul
Virginia is one of the founding members of TORCC NY. She began praying for many years to find out more about God’s reality and relevance in her life after being dissatisfied with the religious experiences she was entangled in. The Lord had Virginia praying for this movement to start after the 9/11 attacks -- she earnestly seeking God to refresh New York City.
The story started unfolding when a friend introduced ‘Ginny’ to our pastors one evening in Manhattan. She began attending nearly every meeting in the small two bedroom apartment in Midtown. Soon she brought all of her friends who were ‘dying on the vine’ to TORCC. That same year she followed our pastors to Sydney, Australia to visit our base and spent one on one time with them learning their heart and being mentored by them in her relationship with Jesus. She returned with new understandings and challenges for her walk with Christ, as now she was being confronted to live in a deeper level of intimacy and faith. Ginny knew she had found the connection that she was praying all those years for.
Virginia is president of the Board of Directors at TORCC NY. She is an established musical theatre director, producer, and composer on and off Broadway. She currently works for famed Broadway composer Charles Strouse (Annie; Bye, Bye, Birdie), assisting with, and musically directing, his latest works. Ms. Pike’s own compositions span a range of styles including choral, art songs, and contemporary musical theater. Her works have been performed at The King’s College, the Jubilee Chorus and Orchestra concerts (various NYC venues), Christ Church of NY, St. George’s Episcopal Church, and by a dance company she co-founded called Skylight Dance Theater. Her six-movement song cycle, First and Fairest, was performed at an Off-Broadway theater in Times Square, as well as her chamber work, The Prodigal Daughter. Virginia and Nathan Kassas are currently developing a musical called City of Dreams, songs from which have been featured in Cutting Edge Composers concerts at the NYMF festival, Joe’s Pub, and on broadwayworld.com.
As a pianist and keyboard player, Virginia has played on Broadway in James Joyce’s the Dead and Amazing Grace, the Musical. She has musically directed many concerts and readings at various venues, including Joe’s Pub, The New York Theater Barn, and the NYMF festival, as well as readings of musicals by Charles Strouse with performers including Montego Glover, Alice Ripley, Jennifer Damiano, and Lili Cooper. At The King’s College, Virginia co-produced and musically directed the NYC premiere of A Pound in Your Pocket, the first musical written by famed writing team, Charles Strouse and Lee Adams. Other regional and NYC musical directing credits include Ordinary Days (The King’s College), Christmas is Coming Uptown (at Medgar Evers, dir. by Ben Harney), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Fordham University), The Drowsy Chaperone (Fordham University), A Wonderful Life (Theater Virginia), The Lively Lad (NYSAF Festival), and The Night Governess (The McCarter Theater). She’s also assisted musically on the development of Amazing Grace, the Musical and on several shows at the City Center Encores! Series.
Virginia has worked with children of all ages as well as adults as a voice teacher and musical director. Her current private students ranging from age 8 to adulthood. Having studied the Fitzmaurice technique with masters Joey Bates and Joan Melton, her teaching method incorporates a holistic approach integrating the body, mind and soul. She currently holds the position of Lecturer of Musical Theater at The King’s College, where she trains students in musical theater performance and history.
Virginia has also directed choral music for The King’s College, The Jubilee Chorus, Christ Church of New York, and St. George’s Episcopal Church. She has held the position of worship leader at Grace Church of Greenwich, St. George’s Episcopal Church and Christ Church of New York.
Virginia holds a M.F.A. from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in Musical Theater Writing where she studied under acclaimed opera composer Ricky Ian Gordon. She also holds a B.S. from Duke University in mathematics and music.
Virginia is the musical director of Collide Worship and oversees the morning worship services. She has a fluent gift of prophecy and word of knowledge and is called as a prophet to the Arts mountain.
Deborah Jarvis is the TORCC NY ministry coordinator and outreach pastor. Debbie joined the TORCC NY team as a volunteer in 2012 and has become an integral part of our core leadership structure. She is currently serving as a missionary plant from our Sydney, Australia campus and has been in NYC for seven years now.
Her background is from the performing arts and fashion industries, but she has had extensive experience in ministering on mission trips in Asia and Africa. She has had a career both as a professional performer and dancer with Next Level Generation Performing Arts Co. -- the company founded by Dr Robyn and Ps. Nathan Kassas. With her experience in NLG, Deborah has performed on multiple tv shows, stadiums, arenas, video clips, and festivals. She has a love for music, dance, the arts, and fashion. Before moving to New York, Deborah worked in the fashion industry as a retail coordinator and model.
Her involvement in the ministry is vital to the running of TORCC both on a local and international scale. Deborah has been personally trained by Dr Robyn Kassas and serves as her right hand executive assistant. She is a crucial part in preparing all course materials for the School Of Apostles and Prophets alongside the dean of the School Of Apostles and Prophets.
Not only has Deborah travelled the world as a performer but also as a capable and anointed minister. She has accompanied missions teams in Asia, America, and Africa. Here she worked closely with our Senior Leaders in the prophetic and was instrumental in workshops and seminars as a trainer and lead minister.
Deborah is involved in all aspects of ministry at TORCC and assists in media, broadcasting, ministry coordination, and The School Of Apostles And Prophets. She works closely under Ps. Nathan Kassas to outwork all the vision and ministry objectives, especially in the transformation arm serving as coordinator for Wholeness and Counseling ministries.
Deborah has a heart for young people and young adults. She is a friend and mentor to young female adults aged 18 - 30 , and is apart of mentoring their relationship with Jesus and with others. She also heads up our “F4” events -- an outreach event catered to connect with those who necessarily aren’t comfortable coming to church. At F4, Deb creates an environment of fun, fellowship, and friendship over great food.
She is a powerful minister who moves in the Prophetic, Counseling, Healing and Wholeness, Freedom, and Discipleship ministries. She has a passion to see the gimmicks of the church done away with, and for the church to reach the dark industries with the truth that is Jesus. She anticipates the edge of God’s heavenly inspiration to transform and restore these areas through each believer and restore what belongs to His Kingdom.
Deborah has completed the Leadership Training Module in the School Of Apostles and Prophets New York which includes the following courses of study:
Amanda is one of the founding members of our church and is on the leadership team of “Identify Her”, our women’s ministry, and also is the lead pastor of the “CityWatch” prayer ministry. Amanda has a deep burden for seeing women reach their fullest potential and fulfill their God given destinies. She fully supports and propagates the concept of women in Marketplace Ministry and is on the Healing and Wholeness team.
She is a fully qualified Licensed Massage Therapist and has developed a unique series of movement classes called “Unwind”. Amanda has founded her own company called The Movement Habit, where she works with clients and students through hands on work and educational seminars to give them tools to maximize their personal movement.
She is currently developing a partnership with TORCC to create new exercise methods that are creative in expression, effective in transformation, but grounded in biblical truth. Amanda has a passion to see the fitness and dance communities embrace methods that are not rooted in soul expression, but true spiritual identity in Christ. It is for this reason that Amanda’s extensive knowledge of the body and it’s grand design equips her to work so effectively in the Healing and Wholeness department of the Transformation Ministry -- with a special emphasis on physical and emotional healing.
We are excited for new techniques and tools that our team and Amanda are pioneering. Look out for instructionals, classes, and courses coming soon to TORCC TV.
Amanda is also a prominent choreographer, dancer (primarily modern) and actress. She is a graduate of Belhaven University in Jackson, MS with a BFA in Dance. Colleen specializes in ballet and modern dance forms and has forged them as tools of evangelism to not only fulfill her dreams as an artist but reach the next generation.
Colleen is a successful businesswoman who owns her own babysitting management company in NYC - “The Sitter Connection NYC”. Here Colleen has built her business from the ground up. She employs trusted, reliable, and relational babysitters for the New York City area. Over the years through building relationships and developing trust, “The Sitter Connection NYC” has become a trusted and reliable business and source to help families and employees alike. As her business is growing in reach and size, she looks forward to conquering new ventures and seeing the Childcare industry transformed with the revelation of Jesus.
Colleen is adored by our children, and for good reason. Her love and care, her gentleness and solemness are all sources of security and comfort. She has a love to see the next generation rise up and take their place in the End Time Army Of Saints. Colleen is instrumental in training leaders, volunteers, and other team members to carry the vision that we have for all our children. She is apart of creating innovative programs, curriculum, and activities that don’t exclude children from encountering the love of God but include their expression of worship and communication -- as we know there is no such thing as a “junior Holy Spirit”. Her vision is to see each child understanding the God that lives within them and help them to grow a relationship with the Holy Spirit where they hear His voice just as Samuel did at a young age.
She is also active in helping to pioneer our children’s freedom department where she works closely with the transformation ministry of our church and parents to see each child walk free from oppression and fear.
Look out for more from Colleen and our Kidztown programs on TORCC TV.

Shenaya or Shenaya Anisse as she is widely known, is a youth pastor and media presenter for TORCC Television. She is also the main host of the TORCC NY Podcast “Portals”. As someone who is called to the Arts and Entertainment mountains, Shenaya is widely recognized as the “face” of many TORCC TV programs. She has allowed God to broaden and direct her gifts, and is now having fun discovering the many facets and colors of her creative potential.
As a professional dancer, she has been in the entertainment industry for the last decade and travelled the world performing on cruise ships, live shows, tours, and music videos. Coming up in the underground dance scene of Atlanta and NYC, Shenaya has trained with some of the best names in dance, and under some of the most famous commercial choreographers in the world.
Her creativity is not only limited to dance, she also is a gifted television presenter and radio host. She has had the opportunity of hosting a few radio shows in the New York City area, including her own show called “The Platform.” Shenaya’s unique flavor is powerful as she is known to ask the hard questions and always keep it real. Shenaya has a heart to reach the dark areas of the entertainment industry with a Gospel that is not compromising but firm in conviction and confession. She longs to see prominent artists and creators alike, come to Jesus and is not ashamed to preach the word of God and say it like it is -- speaking the truth but in love.
Her infectious personality and joy, but also, her maturity in Christ is what makes her such a great mentor and leader for youth. Shenaya’s personal testimony of being set free from the lifestyle of the industry is so powerful and life-changing. She is gifted with making the gospel ‘real’ to young people by demonstrating practical application of God’s grace and breaking performance mindsets!
You cannot be a leader unless you have followers, and you will not have followers unless you demonstrate an attitude and life worth following. Shenaya has both!
Outside of her involvement at church, Shenaya is a successful hairdresser and is moving into the business arena by working toward owning her own Salon. She has worked NYC fashion week and for other prominent events and clients. She is excited to see where God will take her in this adventure, and who she will get to touch with God’s love next.
Shenaya has completed the SOAP leadership module including the following courses of study:

Jonathan is the Creative Pastor of TORCC. He and his beautiful wife Ashley are deacons in training and are involved in leading each part of the creative and production teams.
Jonathan is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, he graduated with a BA in Illustration. His design skills and artistic vision gives him an edge when he ministers to the Body of Christ. While other prophetic ministers primarily speak the word of the Lord – Jon prophesies in pen, pencil, brush and photography. He is also a very capable prophetic minister through the spoken word. He is the founder and director of “Second Breath Art” where he and other trained artists use their God-given talents to illustrate the prophetic word of God. He has been in demand by churches and other ministries to teach his method of prophetic illustration and using it to engage the voice of God.
Jon, or “JP” as we love to call him, joined the team at TORCC back in 2014 and has had one of the most remarkable transformations we’ve seen since our founding in 2010. Through the love of God and beautiful shepherding of our Senior Leadership, Jonathan was able to live behind an alternate lifestyle and embrace his true identity in Christ Jesus. He has seen that truth doesn’t change based on experience, and is thankful for the Holy Spirit revealing Himself the way that He did. Now Jonathan is ready to share his powerful testimony with others that are stuck and caught in cycles different lifestyles. He is excited to share there is hope and that hope is...JESUS!
Jonathan also recently married his amazing wife Ashley Brandford in May 2019, and together they are being prepared for more pastoral and leadership responsibilities.
Jonathan is the main overseer of the creative, media, and production arms of TORCC. He directs all illustrations, visual concepts, and graphic design. In addition, he works closely with Ps. Nathan Kassas in the production of TORCC TV, and is in charge of all Service Broadcasts, Live Tapings, Short Films, Documentaries, etc.
He also is the chief designer on all graphic media produced by our team which includes: logos, branding, design, concept, graphics, visual presentation. Jonathan works closely with Dr Robyn Kassas on Canaan Land Prophetic Journal and the Annual Season Casting Prophetic Blueprint to uniquely but clearly communicate what God is saying. He helps to shape the face and the look of our ministries to the world. Basically if anything requires film, media, graphics, visual concept, or art...Jonathan is there. It’s for this reason that we like to call him our “Visual Worship Leader”.
Jonathan works with his team to bring the message through creative and visual expression with clarity and power.
Jonathan has also completed the SOAP leadership modules as follows:
Ashley Paredes is a newlywed member of TORCC and alongside her husband Jonathan has been an integral part of our artistic and media production arms. She and her husband Jonathan are deacons in training and are a vital part of the creative and production teams.
Her joyous personality and positive demeanor is a source of great happiness and conviction to all in her sphere of influence. On top of all of this, Ashley truly possesses the servant heart of Jesus. She constantly makes herself available to serve the leaders of the church – a true deaconess.
An FIT graduate, with a BA in illustration, she has a powerful artistic gift. She uses this gift actively alongside her husband every Dipping Night where she is one of the principal prophetic artists. Her prophetic drawings have helped to shape a visual of what God is saying and give people hope and anticipation for what God is revealing in their life. She is a contracted artist with Second Breath Prophetic Art and uses her unique gift to deliver the pure prophetic word of God to saints all over the world.
Ashley is also trained in acting and voice overs. She has so many different skills, one being that she is a talented TV presenter and can also be seen as another “face” of TORCC NY. She is actively involved in tapings, performances, documentaries, short-films, and is the host of our weekly announcements which is broadcasted all around the world. She has a face and a smile that will light up any screen, but don’t let her smile fool you, because underneath is a powerful woman of God and a beyond-capable minister in her own right.
Ashley serves in the Transformation ministry, particularly in the freedom department. She works closely with the Freedom Ministry Director and The Director Of Ministries as their executive assistant. She is involved in handling all scheduling and coordination of the department. She is has completed extensive training alongside our Senior Leadership and can usually be seen administering preps and follow up preps.
