From Heritage to Legacy

Dr. Robyn Kassas

February 23, 2026

Last week, we uncovered the power of trust—how God swore by Himself to establish His covenant with Abraham. This week, we move deeper into the story: from heritage to legacy. Heritage is what you receive. Legacy is what you release. In this powerful and prophetic episode, Dr. Robyn and Dr. Nathan unpack the life-changing difference between what is passed down through bloodlines and what is birthed by God’s Spirit within you. Heritage may come through genetics, culture, or even generational patterns—but legacy flows from heaven’s boardroom. It is God’s story written inside you before the foundation of the world. Through the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Esau, we see a divine pattern: you can inherit a birthright and still miss the legacy. Esau traded legacy for appetite. Jacob, though imperfect, fought to keep the story going. Why? Because legacy is not about behavior—it’s about alignment with God’s unfolding redemption. This episode will challenge you to ask: Are you living from what was handed to you… or from what God planted within you? The cross is your heritage—Christ exchanged your unrighteousness for His righteousness. But the legacy? That is the living story of God moving through you to impact generations. You don’t have to be perfect to carry legacy. You just have to choose God’s story over the quick fix. He cleans you up on the way. It’s time to break ungodly heritage and build holy legacy. It’s time to stop settling for inheritance and start stewarding impact. Come back to your first love—not as spiritual infants reliving yesterday’s encounter, but as sons and daughters stepping into mature love, carrying His story forward for generations to come.
