Worship

Our worship ministry aligns the atmosphere through a right-heart posture and excellence in craft

Overview

TORCC Worship exists to pursue the presence of God through worship that is offered in spirit and in truth. For us, worship is not simply an experience during a service—it is a lifestyle of devotion and ministry unto the Lord.

Worship is not our therapy.
It is first our ministry to God.

As we offer our hearts, voices, and praise to Him, we trust in His nature and loving kindness to respond and minister back to His people.

“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” — John 4:24

At TORCC, we intentionally create space to wait upon the Holy Spirit, allowing worship to move beyond performance into encounter. We believe true worship invites the presence of God and aligns our hearts with His purposes. Our focus is not only on ascending into the heights of His presence, but on connecting heaven to earth—welcoming Him to come and tabernacle among His people. As we worship, we are not simply reaching upward; we are inviting His presence to dwell with us, bringing His reality, His timing, and His glory into the atmosphere around us.

Our worship culture also carries a prophetic dimension. As we lift our voices, we engage in the song of the Bride and the Bridegroom, releasing what we believe the Spirit of God is speaking in the moment.

Following the example of our father David, we do not simply sing songs—we steward a sound. We understand that worship carries spiritual authority, and that the sound released from God’s people shapes atmospheres and prepares the way for His presence.

When the people of God worship together, strongholds break, atmospheres shift, and hearts are aligned with the timeline and glory of God.

Frequently Asked Questions

Growing in faith starts with honest questions.
Here are some answers to help guide your journey.

What is TORCC Worship?

TORCC Worship exists to pursue the presence of God through worship that is offered in spirit and in truth. It is not viewed as just a service segment or emotional experience, but as a lifestyle of devotion and ministry unto the Lord.

How does TORCC understand the purpose of worship?

TORCC teaches that worship is not our therapy; it is first our ministry to God. As we offer our hearts, voices, and praise to Him, we trust in His nature and lovingkindness to respond and minister back to His people, in line with the call to worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).

What is distinct about the worship environment at TORCC?

At TORCC, intentional space is created to wait upon the Holy Spirit so that worship moves beyond performance into encounter. True worship is seen as inviting the presence of God, aligning hearts with His purposes, and welcoming Him to come and “tabernacle” among His people—bringing His reality, timing, and glory into the atmosphere.

What is meant by worship carrying a prophetic dimension?

TORCC Worship carries a prophetic dimension in that, as voices are lifted, worshippers engage in the song of the Bride and the Bridegroom, releasing what they believe the Spirit of God is speaking in the moment. Worship is not just singing songs but stewarding a sound that reflects God’s heart now.

Why is worship described as having spiritual authority?

Following the example of David, TORCC understands that worship carries spiritual authority and shapes atmospheres. The sound released from God’s people in worship prepares the way for His presence so that, when the people of God worship together, strongholds break, atmospheres shift, and hearts are aligned with the timeline and glory of God.

How long do worship services usually run?

Worship during our Sunday services typically runs for about 1 to 1.5 hours. It is a central part of both our morning and evening Sunday services, where we create space to pursue the presence of God, wait on the Holy Spirit, and move beyond performance into genuine encounter.

How can someone join the worship team?

Our worship team is not open for general sign-ups from the congregation. If someone senses a call to serve vocally or musically, they should speak with church leadership about how to move forward. We approach worship with integrity and intention, carefully discerning and honoring individual calls and giftings as we steward the sound God has entrusted to our house.
