Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Jihye Shin has served at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City since 2012, bringing a depth of experience in international relations, diplomacy, and global policy. Her career includes work in social services in Huddersfield, United Kingdom (2008–2009) and an appointment within UNESCO’s Office of the Director-General in Paris, France (2013–2014). She currently serves as the Assistant to the Director of the Middle East Division in the Department of Political Affairs, engaging firsthand with issues that shape the global political landscape.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Interpretation and a Master’s degree in International Relations, Jihye is uniquely positioned at the intersection of government, culture, and spiritual influence. She speaks five languages, and her global awareness helps keep our church informed and prayerfully engaged with international events, geopolitical shifts, and global crises.

Jihye carries a strong calling to the mountain of government, believing God has positioned her to be a light in places of high influence and authority. Through her prophetic insight, discernment, and training at TORCC, she ministers to individuals in influential positions and serves as a bridge between the church and the global stage.

Within TORCC, Jihye plays a vital role in our Transformation Ministry, serving faithfully in Freedom Ministry sessions and intercession. Known for her compassion, diligence, and unwavering commitment to prayer, she often places the needs of others above her own—laboring to see people walk in emotional, spiritual, and mental freedom.

‍

Jihye also serves as the Director of the Preps Ministry in NYC—a unique TORCC-designed ministry where individuals share their history, patterns, and personal journey in preparation for freedom and transformation. Using her prophetic training, her gift of discerning spirits, and her sensitive listening ear, Jihye helps identify the true roots behind cycles, wounds, and spiritual battles. Her insight has been instrumental in helping many people begin and complete their freedom process.

A gifted communicator and dedicated team member, Jihye assists in training others to serve within this department. She is passionate about people, family, and wholeheartedly pursuing God’s calling on her life—both in the church and on the global stage of government and international affairs.
