Colleen Rivera serves as the Children’s Pastor of TORCC and directs Kidztown, our vibrant children’s ministry dedicated to raising a generation that knows God, loves His presence, and walks confidently in their identity. She pastors the department together with her husband, Pastor Alex Rivera, and the two recently welcomed their first son, Gabriel Rivera. United in calling and vision, they are passionate about strengthening families, nurturing faith, and empowering children to represent Jesus boldly in their world.

Colleen is a graduate of Belhaven University with a BFA in Dance, specializing in ballet and modern performance. She uses her artistic background as a form of worship and discipleship, believing creativity is one of the most powerful tools God uses to speak to the next generation.

Alongside ministry, Colleen is a successful business owner and the founder of The Sitter Connection NYC, a trusted babysitting management company serving families across New York City. Built from the ground up, her company reflects her commitment to excellence, safety, and relational care.

In Kidztown, Colleen is beloved for her warmth, gentleness, and genuine love for every child. She creates environments where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their gifts. She believes wholeheartedly that “there is no junior Holy Spirit,” and her vision is to see every child grow in hearing God’s voice—just as Samuel did.

Colleen also plays a key role in developing our children’s curriculum, training ministry teams, and pioneering the Children’s Freedom Ministry, where she partners with families to help children walk in confidence, freedom, and emotional wholeness.
