In this episode, Dr. Robyn Kassas and Dr. Nathan Kassas continue the Fish Gate by focusing on spiritual discernment. They explain that God, the enemy, and our own thoughts all speak through the same channel, so faith and discernment are required. Comparing discernment to narrowing a fishing net, they show that the Holy Spirit still flows through while the old supply is filtered out, and they challenge listeners to narrow even their social media feeds. They teach that hearing and listening differ because listening gives attention to what we hear, and they touch on the brain's salience network. Peter's story of casting the net on the other side shows that Jesus' voice outranks personal experience, and that real hearing changes where you cast your net.
