In this episode, Dr. Robyn Kassas and Dr. Nathan Kassas continue through the Valley Gate, looking at the physiology of the valley and how Jesus experienced it in Gethsemane. They describe the body's fight-or-flight response and say these signals are symptoms to process in God's presence, not proof of a threat. They explain that Jesus asked why in the right way and stayed connected to the Father. They present the pattern of going down to come up, moving from the valley of dependence to "not my will, but Yours," and challenge the teaching that Jesus died spiritually, citing Psalm 22. They also compare the wilderness temptations and the cross to the question of self-preservation, and say sonship can kneel because identity is settled while insecurity needs elevation.
