In this episode, Dr. Robyn Kassas and Dr. Nathan Kassas introduce the Valley Gate, the next gate of Jerusalem in their series through Nehemiah's rebuilding. They explain that the valley is a passage, not an identity, and that it is a place of inspection where God's Spirit goes low enough to see what is broken. Using Nehemiah 2 and 3 and Psalm 23, they note that a shadow implies light and that what God inspects in one season He rebuilds for His glory in another. They compare the valley to a diagnostic room, like an X-ray that finds the root of a break, and say a low environment does not mean a low identity. They also discuss the cause as the key, inward schemas, moving from reaction to response, and looking down from a seated position in Christ.
