At Times of Refreshing Christian Center NY, we believe wholeness is part of God’s design for His people—not an exception, but an inheritance.
Our Wholeness Ministry flows from a deep conviction that Jesus paid for complete restoration at the cross. The same blood that forgives sin also brings healing to wounded hearts, renewed minds, and afflicted bodies (1 Peter 2:24). Healing is not something we strive for—it is something we receive as we align our faith with God’s truth.
Types of Healing Ministry
We believe Jesus is still healing people, and his desire is for you to be healed. If you need physical healing, we are here for you. Our team is trained to pray for healing.
Drop by on a Sunday and receive personal prayer for physical healing or book an appointment for during the week with our healing team.
Jesus heals the brokenhearted and restores the inner places that have been shaped by trauma, fear, grief, or past wounds (Psalm 147:3). Through Spirit-led prayer and the renewing of the mind, we create space for God to bring truth, freedom, and peace where pain once lived.
The Inner Healing ministry is designed to get to root issues that cause a lack of love and identity. This ministry deals with emotional wounds of the past, and painful memories. These sessions are conducted by trained ministers who rely on the Holy Spirit to lead each session. This type of ministry is available by appointment only and can be booked during the week.

If you would like to receive wholeness ministry please click the button to fill out you ministry appointment request form. One of our team will get back to you with an available time slot and the next steps in the process.

- Confirm/Secure
Confirm Appointment and Submit Your Waiver Once you have confirmed your appointment details you will be sent a liability waiver release form. Please sign and submit your waiver promptly. For accountability sake, we require that your waiver first be signed in order to successfully book your appointment.

- Receive
Receive Wholeness Ministry Upon speaking to our team and submitting your completed liability waiver, our team will pray into your application and then schedule you for your ministry appointment with our wholeness ministry team. You will receive the details of your ministry appointment via email and will need to confirm this once more. Once confirmed, you are all set to come and receive from our wholeness team and their ministry.

The ministry is available only by appointment only. The sessions are conducted at Times of Refreshing Christian Center New York Campus. Healing and wholeness prep appointments can be conducted over the phone and off campus during the week. It is necessary for all first time participants to first complete a preparation appointment before moving onto a healing ministry session with our team. Growing in faith starts with honest questions.
Here are some answers to help guide your journey.
God designed the body to heal. The enemy intentionally layers in woundedness over the years through deception or doors opened through sin events. Then the enemy puts in structures to keep that woundedness in place to prevent healing. Once those demonic structures are removed, the soul can begin to heal, which you can eventually see in a biblical expression of emotions. For example, you will have the freedom to forgive, freedom to put on and put off as the Apostle Paul exhorts, and the freedom to express the fruit of the Spirit. A more deeply wounded person may need multiple healing sessions to get to that freedom.
Actually, scripture doesn’t divide healing into inner and outer healing – the Western mindset does that. Luke, the Gospel author, was a physician to the whole person – spirit, soul, & body. In the Gospel of Luke, there is teaching on seven soulish fears as well as miracles of physical healing. Specifically, in Luke 4:16-21 Jesus reads his prophetic mandate from Isaiah 61:1-2 which contains “ … He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, …” Matthew approaches the subject from a different angle and demonstrates the change in Levi the rejected tax collector to Matthew the apostle who includes the topic of mercy.
The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead who has the mandate to oversee the wounded person’s healing and restoration, paid for by Jesus at the cross, until Jesus returns. (Lk 10:30-37). It is the Holy Spirit that reveals in a session where to begin, reveals the sequence of actions needed to effectively destroy the works of the devil in the soul, and what to command, loose, or impart to bring healing to the recipient’s soul. Any want, desire, or perceived need on the part of the recipient is submitted to the Holy Spirit by team leaders for direction. The session is lead by the Holy Spirit’s revelation, not the recipient’s imagination.
All of our freedom and healing ministers volunteer their services to the Body of Christ. The prophets and Jesus both received offerings of support for their ministries. Mega churches may have an advantage financially to offset wages for full or part time staff. The disadvantage of this is that some may begin to see the ministry as a job and not a calling. Smaller churches rely on the voluntary services of its members to do the work of the ministry as an offering to God. A suggested donation is not mandatory, but encouraged as a way to say thank you to our volunteers for making the grace of God available to you.
Currently, we have on TORCC TV an Introduction to Healing and Wholeness. We intend to add to that teaching in the future, including “walkout” videos that will help a person to walk out their healing process.
