Connect Groups

Stoke the fires of faith through connecting to the Body of Christ

Overview

Connect Groups are where church becomes personal.

While Sundays gather us together, Connect Groups allow us to grow together. These smaller, intentional gatherings meet throughout the week in homes and various locations across the city — creating space for meaningful relationships, prayer, and spiritual growth.

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship…” — Acts 2:42

Frequently Asked Questions

Growing in faith starts with honest questions.
Here are some answers to help guide your journey.

What are Connect Groups and what is their purpose?

Connect Groups are smaller, intentional gatherings where church becomes personal. They create space for meaningful relationships, prayer, and spiritual growth, as inspired by Acts 2:42: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship…” The purpose is to help build genuine friendships, grow in biblical understanding, pray together consistently, ask honest questions, and apply Sunday teachings to real life. We believe faith was never meant to be lived in isolation—this is where you are known, supported, and can grow.

When and where do Connect Groups meet?

Connect Groups meet throughout the week in homes and various locations across the city, New Jersey, and Sydney, making it easier to connect beyond Sunday services and integrate community into everyday life.

What happens in a typical Connect Group?

In a Connect Group, people build genuine friendships, grow in biblical understanding, pray together consistently, ask honest questions, and apply Sunday messages to everyday life. The focus is on fellowship and shared journeys that lead to transformation.

Who can participate in a Connect Group?

Connect Groups are open to anyone—whether you’re new to TORCC, new to faith, or wanting to deepen your walk with God. There is a place for everyone seeking to grow in a supportive community environment.

How do Connect Groups differ from Sunday gatherings?

While Sundays gather the whole church, Connect Groups focus on personal and relational growth in a more intimate setting, where you are not just seen or attended, but known, supported, and able to grow through real interaction.
