Freedom

Our Freedom ministry unlocks freedom from demonic suppression, depression, and oppression in the believer's life.

Overview

Freedom is not optional for the believer—it is covenantal. Scripture declares that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, authorities, and spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Because of this, we recognize the urgent need for every believer to live free from demonic oppression, suppression, and depression. Jesus did not come merely to comfort captivity—He came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8) and to proclaim liberty to the captives (Luke 4:18).

At Times of Refreshing Christian Center, our Freedom Warriors minister the wholeness of Jesus Christ to the body, soul, and spirit. We do not counsel demons, negotiate with them, or attempt to manage them. We follow the clear command of Scripture—we cast them out in the authority of Jesus’ name (Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19; Acts 16:18). Deliverance is not spectacle; it is the enforcement of Christ’s victory over darkness (Colossians 2:15).

Yet we also understand that freedom is both an event and a journey. Chains may break in a moment, but strongholds are dismantled as minds are renewed and lives are aligned with truth (2 Corinthians 10:4–5; Romans 12:2). We walk with individuals through repentance, forgiveness, renunciation, and discipleship so that liberty is not temporary but established.

Freedom from depression and oppression is available only through the supreme power of Jesus Christ. Only He breaks chains and sets captives free (John 8:36). For over 40 years, our ministry has been actively engaged in deliverance and healing, stewarding this sacred call with maturity, experience, and unwavering theological conviction. We do not magnify darkness—we exalt the authority of Christ and establish His Lordship where bondage once stood.

Begin Your Journey  TO FREEDOM!

Freedom is not about hype — it’s about alignment. It’s about removing what hinders your attachment to Jesus and stepping fully into who He created you to be (John 8:36; 2 Corinthians 3:17). Here’s how to begin your journey:

✨ Step 1

- Request

If you would like to pursue Freedom Ministry, please complete the Ministry Appointment Request Form by clicking the button below. Once your request is received, a member of our team will carefully review your application and contact you with available appointment times, along with detailed instructions outlining the next steps. We approach every request prayerfully, understanding that this is not simply a process but a person seeking breakthrough. Your form is handled with care, discernment, and respect for the journey you are beginning.

✨ Step 2

- Confirm/Secure

After confirming your appointment time, you will receive a Liability Waiver Release Form via email. For accountability and proper scheduling, the waiver must be signed and returned before your appointment can be secured, as no appointments are finalized without a completed waiver. This step helps ensure clarity, protection, and proper preparation for everyone involved, as we seek to honor both spiritual integrity and practical responsibility, remembering that “where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” — Proverbs 11:14.

✨ Step 3

- Prepare

Once your waiver has been received, you will be scheduled for a required Preparation Interview with a trained team member. During this conversation, we prayerfully explore areas that may be creating strongholds or hindrances, allowing us to address root issues before your ministry session. This preparation helps ensure that your Freedom Ministry appointment is approached with clarity, honesty, and spiritual readiness, as we invite the Lord to search our hearts and reveal what needs to be brought into His light (Psalm 139:23–24).

✨ Step 4

- Recieve

After your preparation interview, our team will prayerfully review your application and schedule your Freedom Ministry session. Once your appointment is arranged, you will receive final confirmation details via email with everything you need to prepare for your ministry time. As you come to your session, we encourage you to approach it with expectancy, humility, and a surrendered heart. Freedom is not about emotional hype but about spiritual alignment with what Christ has already accomplished. As Scripture declares, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me… to proclaim freedom for the captives.” — Luke 4:18

Testimonials

Sophia

@jenny

Hello Vanessa, I wanted to express my gratitude for you, the team, and Pastor for your prayers and encouragement on Sunday. After that night, I felt a sense of lightness and excitement about my journey. Although I still face struggles, I’m experiencing significant changes as I walk the path of deliverance. God is transforming my understanding of our relationship, helping me realize that I've always been accepted by Him. I wanted to share this testimony, even though public speaking is difficult for me. A recent dream reminded me of the scripture about overcoming by the blood of the Lamb and our testimony. Thank you all for being vessels for God’s message; your support means a lot to me.

Frequently Asked Questions

Growing in faith starts with honest questions.
Here are some answers to help guide your journey.

What does Freedom Ministry involve?

Our ministry is focused on assisting people in overcoming demonic oppression, depression, and suppression. Our ministry leaders are highly trained and offer personalized inner healing and deliverance sessions based solely on biblical methods, aimed at helping you achieve complete freedom.

Is Freedom Ministry the same thing as Sozo?

No, Sozo ministry makes no room at all for demonic oppression. This is because of the theological error mentioned above. To deny the affect of demonization on believers is already game over as far as full freedom is concerned, as the enemy keeps in the darkness working havoc while the saints are being devoured. It is our conviction that Sozo is not a Biblically based ministry method and therefore is not productive to the saints full freedom and walking in wholeness. Rather, this form of ministry -- as with many other forms presenting themselves in today's modern church -- is based on a new age method called "theophistic editing". In new way does TORCC endorse or practice sozo as it is a direct contradiction of scripture. If you would like to know more information then we encourage you to speak to one of our ministry leaders during your appointment.

Why is there a suggested donation?

All of our freedom and healing ministers volunteer their services to the Body of Christ. The prophets and Jesus both received offerings of support for their ministries.  Mega churches may have an advantage financially to offset wages for full or part time staff. The disadvantage of this is that some may begin to see the ministry as a job and not a calling.  Smaller churches rely on the voluntary services of its members to do the work of the ministry as an offering to God. A suggested donation is not mandatory, but encouraged as a way to say thank you to our volunteers for making the grace of God available to you.

Why is a prep necessary?

A Prep is a meeting that precedes the deliverance. During the session the ministers asks the individual about their background or about current matters of concern. As series of questions are asked by the minister that may reveal certain key entry points of demonic oppression.  This helps the ministers focus their attention on these areas so that less time is wasted. A Prep also helps determine whether deliverance or healing is the best avenue of grace for each individual.

How long have you been active in this type of ministry?

TORCC churches have been active in Freedom and Wholeness ministry for over thirty-five years. Our freedom ministry was trained and equipped by one of the main father's of the deliverance movement within the church, Win Worley. For over 35 years our teams have been effectively apart of setting people free in the Name of Jesus and have ministered to thousands on every continent.
